Lava Fields, Big Island

I'm on Hawaii (big island) with a friend on the island.  We've been going on adventures and seeing the beauty of the country.

Miles upon miles of sharp, porous material from the lava flow... stretching out from the volcano to the sea.  Going to Hilo today.  Found a place to volunteer feeding the hungry while in the area, going to see how much volunteering I can get into.
