Organic Gardening in HI
Yesterday we fasted, I also remained in silence. Actually, it seemed more fitting to do it on Tuesday or even Monday but we had things we were doing and so I waited until Wednesday.
We stayed busy and did various tasks around the casa, including the re-potting of some papaya and first-potting of pineapples.
Re-potting strawberry papaya into bigger pots.
Fill the new pot 3/4 of the way up and then set the current pot inside to test if the soil is at the right level. Should be about level with the top of the pot.
By holding the papaya upside-down they easily come out and can be transplanted into bigger pots. We didn't break up the roots and the soil was packed tightly as apposed to loosely.
This is our finished work: 63 strawberry papayas (in 21 pots - 3 per pot) and 10 pineapples.
The fast was a bit difficult for both of us but we got through it. Perhaps we should have fasted the day prior but alas, all things happen when they should. This morning I wrote a paper on a significant aspect to my fast here:

Part of why I was fasting was to have the mindset to sit down and write about this topic.
Blessings of Love and Light!
