PART I - Quartzsite to Blythe

So here are the Wilhoit/Yarnell area pics  taken on October 9th from the camera that Heather so lovingly donated/loaned me to use on this pilgrimage.  First one is from my favorite campsite, a location that played a huge role in mind expansion for me and has remained close to my heart.  The second and third are from Look Out point, come down from the mountains out of Yarnell, on the way to Quartzsite.

It's been a pretty unique journey thus far.  The first leg has had a distinctly Christian theme to it.  Pretty much everyone that I encountered and all who helped me get this far have been Christian.  I'm really open to everything and have greatly enjoyed this new exposure through teachings and interactions.  Made it to the Sunday morning and evening services at the Isaiah 58, as well the Monday morning Bible study.

My new vulture feather and soap from Brand-New-Dead-Things (gave soap to sweet hippie lady, Becky at Isaiah 58) along with sage bundle on top of a great book: "the Ten Commandments" by Emmet Fox - was reading in my spare time at 58.  This is by far my favorite Christian content that I've come across yet, this book.  It was the notes, left by some anonymous person, that turned me onto it.

Notes like:
"It is the practical conduct all day long that builds up consciousness"... plan to make a whole post with just these notes tomorrow.  So powerful!

A man named Don told me about a Biblical scholar in Beaumont that is spreading the Word, in very accurate interpretations as he studies the ancient languages that the oldest versions were written in.  On a whim I called the man and asked if I could come out and learn from him.  He agreed.

My departure from the 58 was escorted by a jack-Christian by the name of Fred on the 11th.  Well before I left Tempe/Phoenix, Spirit communicated that I should cross over the Arizona-California border on the 11th in order to ensure good flow.  And just like when Brian was escorting me, there was a strong sense that it's not up to me where I get dropped off.  At the Isaiah 58, Fred and Jessie were deliberating where is the best place for me to be dropped off.  My mind thought the first exit - cause that's where people getting gas'll go.  But my new friends both agreed on the last exit in Blythe.  Again, I gave it up to the forces that be to usher me where I need to go.  Fred dropped me off and I could tell he was a bit worried.

My first-ever hitch hiking sign!

I sat down and chilled for a bit.  The sun soon went down with my usual observances.  Sitting there it seemed rather unlikely that I'd get a ride from this remote bumble town to this other remote bumble town at such an hour.  I contemplated just getting into the bushes and chilling but a little voice said to just sit.  Soon I felt as if someone was dispatched to me.  Ten minutes later he pulled up.  My sign, as you'll notice, does not say Beaumont.  It says Riverside/L.A.  Johnny just so happened to be going to almost the exact exit in Beaumont that I was going to.  And, Ironically, he was also a kind and charitable Christian.

He took me right to the scholar's door and dropped me there safely.  We talked about about our lives and the events going on.  Johnny and his son, Jordan, are ever in my thoughts today and I'm praying for Light, Love, Peace, Harmony, and blessings of Abundance for them both.  Healing and Peace to Jordan, especially.  I know what he's struggling with from a very personal understanding and am sending these good vibes their way...

Part II tomorrow

  2. Good to hear, Starlyn! Here's a ministry-launching quote from Isaiah 61:

"The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD hath anointed me to share good news with the meek. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberation to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound. 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD. To comfort all that mourn. 3 To appoint unto those who mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty in exhange for their ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called TREES of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. 4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

    Peace,

    Bro. J
